About the Event

Become familiar with the current trends in the Read/Write Web and social networking websites. Emphasis is placed upon curricular tie-ins and teaching information literacy with these tools. Students leave the class with a working weblog, a presence on social networking sites, the ability to create and edit a wiki, and an understanding of current major trends on the Web.

*Optional WebCT orientation Friday, June 29 from 8-9am at PSU's Graduate School of Education Room 310 (615 SW Harrison ST, Portland, OR 97201).
