I am currently head of monographs cataloging at OSU. I have a bachelor’s degree in zoology from the University of Toronto, a master’s degree in public health from the University of California at Los Angeles, and a second master’s in library science from Southern Connecticut State University. I am a member of Beta Phi Mu, the library science honor society. Prior to my current position, I was a science cataloger at Virginia Tech in Blacksburg, Virginia. I have been active in the Oregon Library Association, serving as both program coordinator and chair of the International Relations Round Table. I have also served on several committees of ACRL and ALCTS. My professional interests include subject analysis, academic librarianship, and international librarianship. In 2005 I received a Fulbright Fellowship to teach cataloging courses at Charles University in Prague in the Czech Republic.
