Letting the Patrons Drive
Acquisitions has changed the collection development process by shifting purchasing decisions from just in case to just in time. Several library vendors offer this service and libraries are taking advantage in a variety of ways. Join Sally Gibson, Head, Technical Service & Serials, to learn about the implementation process of Demand Driven Acquisitions (DDA), budgetary planning, the role of selectors, and our overall impression of the service after the first year of use.
