Speaker's Bio/Recent Trainings
After 31 years as a librarian (26 of them as a director or senior manager) in three states, serving libraries large and small, urban and rural, I'm happy to be able to share some of what I've learned. I most frequently train and present on intellectual freedom and privacy, policy and administrative rule development and administration, and policy for Web 2.0.
Recent trainings include Intellectual Freedom and Privacy training for Canby Library board members and Astoria Library staff; Sandtraps in Cyberspace (policy development for Web 2.0) with Arlene Keller and Bernadette Nunley at PLA 2010. Previous policy-related presentations at ALA, Online NW, OLA , Marylhurst U. and WCCLS.
