About the Event
Tired of using the same books with your classes every year? Come to this workshop to learn about new books you might integrate into your language arts, social studies, math, science and arts curriculum. We’ll provide copies of the books for you to borrow after the event.
Library staff briefly introduces the books and provide copies of the booktalks to take with you. Refreshments will be served, and all educators who attend will get a free book to keep!
You may be able to obtain in-service credit for attending this workshop; ask for details. If you are unable to attend on any of these dates and you work within Multnomah County, you can ask about scheduling a special presentation of the workshop for your school or district.
Presented by: Multnomah County Library School Corps Librarians
Cost: FREE
To Register:
To register, lib.school.corps@multcolib.org or 503.988.6004. Registration priority given to Multnomah County residents but open to additional educators and librarians as space allows.
